We have owned our property in Sherbrooke for over 40 years. The house is surrounded by large Mountain Ash trees some over 65m in height. Over the 40 year period we have used the services of eight to ten different firms of tree cutters. On each occasion we did not use the firm twice. This is because the tree cutting crew did not impress us with their professionalism.

This is in stark contrast to the professionalism of and working standards of Ranges Tree Works. We have engaged Ranges Tree Works three times in the last three years to remove trees, which were significantly endangering our home. If any mistake had been made in the removal of these trees, our home could have been destroyed.

The crew was much tidier in their work practices then any other crew that we had ever employed. All the equipment that was not being used was kept well away from the work site meaning it could not be accidently damaged or tripped over. when the branches where lowered they were uncoupled from the lowering rope and taken away and another crewmember cut them up safely away from the tree. This left the area under the tree clear for the next branch to be lowered to the ground. This is the first time that I have seen this practice usually the tree cutters leave the branches under the tree and cut them up later meaning that the crew on the ground keeps tripping over these branches which I feel is a dangerous practice especially as they are using chainsaws.

Ranges Tree Works provides a very valuable service to the local community in that they have the expertise to handle some of the tallest trees in the world, often in very dangerous positions.

I wholeheartedly recommend Ranges Tree Works for their superior workmanship and exemplary attention to detail. They displayed a great deal of skill and efficiency when removing a dangerous dead tree and overhanging branches from my property.

I feel like a weight has been lifted, and it is so refreshing to be able to enjoy my backyard now.

Ranges tree works. I could not recommend this company highly enough.

My cat Neville was missing for 2 days, the second night on arriving home I was told he was at least 12 metres up a very big tree in my neighbours property. The RSPCA wouldn't come out and rescue him as their procedure is to wait a week. The CFA came out but their ladders weren't high enough and so they suggested to ring a arborist.

I rang Ranges Tree Works and spoke to a very symathetic and understanding Tracey and within ten minutes Dave the arborist rang me back to advise me he would be up within the hour. He and Michael came up to Monbulk and with what seemed great ease climbed the tree and rescued Neville.

We were so grateful, as they were leaving I asked for his bill, he said no charge as it only took a little while, and I'm glad the cat is safe. How nice is that, Dave and Michael drove from Ferntree Gully to Monbulk at 8 o'clock at night rescued my cat and didn't even charge.

Thank goodness there is still nice, caring people out there.
